My uncle John, what a shock! I could not have asked for a better uncle and brother to my dad. You were always filling the room with jokes and your crude sense of humour - turning all negative situations into light hearted banter! I see a lot of my dad in you so feel as if you haven’t really left after all! I think I am noticing this now more than ever. You were such a loving, caring man - making friends everywhere you went. No wonder you were so popular! I have really enjoyed looking through old photo albums and hearing many stories about you from dad that I hadn’t before. My last memory of you is when you slipped me an envelope with some money in and whispered ‘don’t tell your father’! I Still can’t believe you are gone & will never ever forget you.
